Building Futures Through Experience
With over 25 years in construction, I’ve built more than just walls—I’ve built a path that started in hospitality and business development and led me to something far more meaningful: impact.
I didn’t grow up dreaming of job sites and blueprints. But I knew I wanted to lead, to serve, and to build something that mattered. The construction industry gave me that shot—not just to make money, but to create value. I used what I loved—business, service, and connection—to build something that lasts. And now, I use my voice to help others do the same.
Here’s what I tell young people:
You don’t have to settle.
You don’t have to follow a script someone else wrote.
And you sure as hell don’t have to choose between passion and a paycheck.
The skilled trades can open doors—but so can business, so can creativity, so can leadership. The real win? Finding what matters to you—and then working like hell to become someone who makes any team, any company, or any industry better because you're in it.
That’s the mindset I carry. That’s the message I share. And that’s what I want to pass on—whether I’m mentoring one-on-one, speaking in schools, or leading a crew of future entrepreneurs.
It’s not about what job you choose—it’s about how you show up for it, what you build through it, and how you invest what you earn to create the life you want.
That’s not hype. That’s real.
That’s what built me. And it can build you too.

Blueprint of Opportunity – Jasmine’s Story
My name is Jasmine, and I’m a full-time Construction Engineering Technician student at George Brown College. I was introduced to the trades later than most. Growing up, my single mother hoped I’d choose a comfortable office job, but thanks to the support of Miss Diana, I joined the Construction SHSM program, a decision that changed my path completely.
My journey truly began during a blueprint reading seminar led by Johnny and Natalie Farro of InterAll Ltd., along with estimator Will Pouge. Learning about the trade’s heart and purpose inspired me deeply. After the seminar, I reached out to Johnny and Natalie for an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and they welcomed me into the InterAll family.
I began as a Junior Estimator, working with the amazing team on paint takeoffs, health and safety, and project documentation. Johnny encouraged me to get my driver’s license, understanding how vital independence is in this field. In December 2024, I applied and was accepted into George Brown College, later receiving the BOLT financial award,a moment I’ll never forget.
By early 2025, Johnny offered me the chance to step onto job sites as a Junior Site Supervisor. My first site was the Maurice Cody library renovation, where I learned directly from experienced tradespeople. Each day built my confidence and showed me that the trades are not just about building structures but building people.
Now, as I continue my studies, I carry with me every lesson, every challenge, and every opportunity that InterAll has given me. I’m proud to represent the next generation of women in construction and forever grateful to Johnny, Natalie, and the InterAll team for believing in me.
